Flu shot: practical and accessible

Our nurses are at your disposal to vaccinate the members of your family. On request, they can also go to your home. Although the flu shot is not infallible, it does nonetheless go a long way towards alleviating the symptoms and preventing complications. Our nurses take charge of everything. They will acquire the vaccine doses necessary and ensure that no negative reactions occur after receiving the injection.

• A vaccination is the most effective measure that can be taken to prevent or reduce influenza and its complications.

Travel vaccinations: a “must” for travelling safely

For people who travel, preventative vaccinations are indispensable and are recommended by Public Health authorities, and this, in several countries. As is the case for seasonal vaccinations, our nurses can vaccinate you depending upon your travel destination(s), and this, in accordance with Public Health care norms. On request, they can do this in the comfort of your own home.

Vaccines covered by Medicare are free.

 

Samples and specimens

Servirplus offers the services of a nurse who can come to your home to take samples and specimens that may be required by your doctor for your annual check-up, or for medical examinations required by your insurer.

• Samples and specimens can also be taken in one of our offices located all across the Province of Quebec.
• The costs vary from one region to the next, depending upon the instructions given by the different hospital laboratories.
• Private insurers generally reimburse these costs. A receipt will moreover be given to you, so that you may submit a claim.
