Psychosocial evaluation service for internation adoption

The psychosocial evaluation of a person wanting to adopt a child living outside of Quebec is required by the Civil Code of Quebec and its conditions are described in the Youth Protection Act. The evaluation allows those responsable for the adoption process (both in Quebc and country of origin) to verify if the adopters can fulfill the child’s physical, psychological and social need.

CarePlus’s social workers are qualified to perform the psychosocial assessment required by Quebec legislation. This service is available throughout Quebec.
