The remidial teacher detects, identifies, and evaluates difficulties and disorders in school learning in the areas of spoken and written language, logical-mathematical reasoning, and psychomotor development.

Screening and prevention:

Recognizing and reporting certain characteristics of the learner in order to prevent the worsening of learning difficulties. In this sense, its role in preschool is essential.

Diagnostic evaluation:

Determining, through appropriate instruments, the nature of learning difficulties in order to establish a rehabilitation plan, analyze and establish a diagnosis to guide decisions that promote successful learning.

The intervention:

This professional establishes study programs adapted to the individual needs of students and intervenes with parents, guiding them and providing educational support.
